Think I've narrowed it down to Louie or Ollie after a long 8 months of trying to think of a name! thoughts? Smile

Yep the German pronounces it Looees as I said.

I have never disputed the s is pronounced in German, that is apparent from my phonetic spelling.

If you decide to go with the first choice I think you should spell it Louis as that is the traditional way to spell in the UK. . Is Louie an American spelling?

Rachel246 I Louis is pronounced loo ee. If it is pronounced with an s it is spelt Lewis.
