I agree with @JollyGiraffe12 about the name Esther. I like Jenna though.

Esther but I associate it as being very Jewish (not that that’s a bad thing!)

Esther definitely. It reminds me of Judy Garland's character from Meet me in St. Louis which is my favourite Christmas film :)

Not a fan of Esther - don't really like Jenna either - wouldn't mind Jemma though.

I know an Esther - a very bossy opinionated woman with a very hard face. For that reason, definitely Jenna!

When I hear Jenna I just think of the kardashian/Jenner clan which I think a lot of young people might associate it with. Esther is lovely but very old fashioned but I prefer it of the 2 x

I’ve never met a Jenna - and would assume it was short for Jennifer (a bit 80s).

@Pipandmum it’s easy to check the statistics of a name. Having 2 Esthers in a year is very unusual as the name has hovered around the no 200 slot for the past 20 years. Usually around 300 babies a year given this name.

Esther is elegant and timeless.

Jenna feels a bit 1990.
