I tend to prefer longer names but really like May and Ruth. What are your thoughts? Does anybody know any little May's or Ruth's?

I don’t really like Ruth sorry
How about Jane

Poppydaisies · 09/02/2020 20:21

I struggle to pronounce names like Ruth or Seth.

I like May.

ThePolishWombat · 09/02/2020 20:21

I know a little 4yo Ruth Smile
I like the name, but it seems such a “grown up” name for such a smiley, cute little thing like she is Blush I guess she’ll grow into it!!

Lobsterquadrille2 · 09/02/2020 20:25

May is lovely. I'm sorry but the name Ruth, said quickly, reminds me of a dog barking.

ShesGotBetteDavisEyes · 09/02/2020 20:27

May is nice - Ruth is very biblical!
Also: Ada, Ava, Mia, Gia, Joy, Zoe, ivy, Mya,

Ruth is awful.

May is pretty.

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 09/02/2020 20:50

We will have ourselves a little baby Ruth.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself!

I dont care for either as a first name, maybe middle? Just my personal opinion! I think May is kind of a filler name and Ruth either feels little girlish or old woman - I can't picture anything in between. But this is my own personal opinion! I like that you like names not every person is asking about!

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 09/02/2020 20:51

I quite like Rue over Ruth or Mable or Maisie over May!!

May is nice

Lilyrabbit · 09/02/2020 21:32

I know an older 60 year old May and a baby May. I think it’s quite a sweet and easy name.

Not a fan of Ruth though. Reminds me of a name a stern librarian would have.

Astronica · 09/02/2020 21:37

I like both. I know a little Ruth is mostly called Ruthie.

Astronica · 09/02/2020 21:38

sorry, correction 'who is mostly called Ruthie'.

bridgetreilly · 09/02/2020 21:42

I really like Ruth. Not a huge fan of May, which just feels a bit meh.
