Please help! Luca for a boy

My husband is set on Luca for a boy however it's just not grabbing me. Perhaps it'll grow on me.
Are there any names you could suggest as an alternative?

I mean Elis not Ellis as this is the spelling I am used to from part my Welsh heritage

Anyway I didn't expect the post to create controversy I was just curious if anyone had suggestions that are similar to Lucas

Luca is very popular around here. There are three in my DS's year at school out of 57 kids. Lucas is just as nice, if not nicer. Or Luke.

Elias is from the Hebrew.
Luca is too italian, but Luke and Lucas are nice.

I love the name Luca although I would spell it Luka. The Suzanne Vega song is "Luka".

I know that song is sad but I love it and have a dog called Luka after the song
