OhTheRoses · 09/02/2020 10:31

Mariella/Meriel

Beatrix33 · 09/02/2020 10:40

Don't like Aurelia
@Bluerussian I'm guessing you're joking?

@OhTheRoses @Chocolatecake12
@Nosauce thank you.
Gabriella would be the best one out of those but I'm not a fan of Gabby unfortunately.
Cordelia is nice.
Don't like Val in Valentina
We have a Penelope in the family.
I really liked Angelina/Angelica but we have one of those too!
Some of the other longer names can be a bit frumpy.
Juliette was our original other middle name but not right as a first for her.

Been spoilt with Raphael as a name. It's timeless with an element of posh and cool.

We have a friend with a Skoda Octavia car which put me off that one and it's not that pretty.
Thanks for help

What are thoughts on
Miralina Sylvana Beatrix

userabcname · 09/02/2020 10:58

Congratulations!
How about Celeste?

LadyGAgain · 09/02/2020 11:00

Honestly. Not a fan. Looks like a hash up of lots of children's books/toys

Princess Mirabelle
Sylvanian families
Beatrix Potter

Individually they are ok. Together it's a bit much.

Whatsyourflava · 09/02/2020 11:01

Wow you’ve really been through an awful time @Beatrix33 I’m so sorry to read all this

Congratulations on your son and daughter

It’s very hard to find a name that’s as special as a child is. But remember no name is perfect. It’s just a name. Do you spend a long time thinking about your own name? I don’t.

Whatsyourflava · 09/02/2020 11:03

I love

Margaret
Ottilie
Delilah
Ophelia
Roxanna/Roxanne (I think that could sound lovely next to your sons name)
Imogen
Cleo (too short a name?)
Clementine (one of my favourites)

JesmondDene · 09/02/2020 11:12

Congratulations - Beatrix but shortened to Trixie?

Emmeline is a strong girls name.

Have a good read of these - there are many beautiful names on the list.

Do let us all know - we'd love to meet your daughter!

JesmondDene · 09/02/2020 11:17

Reading the list linked....

'Gloriana' - because your daughter is just glorious!

Also like Fabiana. Audrianna and Aubrianna

OhTheRoses · 09/02/2020 11:24

Miralina sounds a bit too made up.

LadyGAgain · 09/02/2020 11:25

How was Rosalie or Rosalind?

Beatrix33 · 09/02/2020 12:06

Thank you @JesmondDene and @Whatsyourflava
I'm feeling very delicate with emotions. I can't believe I have her.
Thank you for the nice comments.

I'm not sure about
Celeste, a bit short

@LadyGAgain not keen on those. I think it's the Ros

I'll look up those links and I'll let you know what we decide.

I still like Mirabella but it's just a bit girly I think.
Miralina would be better. It's a name on baby centre. The nearest one as I can get to if I can't have Angelina or Evelina.
My mum loves Arahlia
Will keep going x

Mirabel is nicer. Clarabel?

user1493494961 · 09/02/2020 12:29

The right name is out there, don't make one up. Raphael is lovely, you need something to match.

ritalove · 09/02/2020 12:36

Mirabella by far. Would you consider Mirabelle?

user1493494961 · 09/02/2020 12:45

What about Alicia.

Mirabel is nicer. Clarabel?
........
When I was young, 'Mirabelle' was a young girl's magazine and Clarabel is a noisy truck from Thomas the Tank Engine.

Overthinker1988 · 09/02/2020 12:52

I've never heard of either name but out of the two I prefer Aralia.
I also like Aurelia, Mirabel, Mariela, Mariana, Raya which are similar.

TheVoiceInTheShed · 09/02/2020 15:25

Clarissa ?

Lobsterquadrille2 · 09/02/2020 15:30

I have a Miranda which has a similar feel to Mirabella.

LadyGAgain · 09/02/2020 22:48

Rosalie isn't Ros it's Rosa-Lee (like Rose with an A)
