Hi guys.
We love these girls name. My husband is set on sienna but I think I prefer Freya which might travel better....not sure.
Can anyone suggest similar names?

Are they just too popular?
Thank you

I love sienna, you could also consider Sierra?

Yesterdayforgotten · 05/02/2020 19:34

I like Sienna but Sierra reminds me of the American drink Sierra Mist.

I loved Freya and for some reason Astrid always popped into my head afterwards.

Freya is nice too Smile

Esme is the name I think of as similar to these.

Freya is Nordic and strong and beautiful. Anwen, Anna, Astrid, in a similar vein. Sienna has a very different sound and feel, much much softer? More like Sophie, Sophia, Chloe, Savannah, Amber type thing? Personally I love Freya.

Thank you for your responses Smile

Barney77 I agree and know what you mean. I actually see Freya as softer but I get there is a different feel to them x

Really really love both names

How about Cora (I prefer your choices though)

Ashsummer · 05/02/2020 21:38

I think Freya works in Europe perhaps better than sienna.

Imogen is a great name @Ashsummer

I adore Freya, and so wish it worked with our surname. However I don’t really like Sienna (sorry!) and wouldn’t have connected these two names. How about...

Iris (another goddess name)
Maya
Esme
Thea
Sophia
Luna
Alexandra

I really like Sienna but never liked Freya it always looks and sounds harsh to me

Whatsyourflava · 07/02/2020 13:33

Sadie?

Freya is lovely. Sienna is OK but I see it as having a different vibe to Freya.
