Give me any/all your boys names.

We were TTC for a year and during that time I could not get DH to commit to a single boys name. After about 6 months we've settled on a girls name.

I'm due on July and will be finding out what we're expecting in Feb.

The only restrictions DH mentions is anything remotely Biblical.

I like anything uncommon/usual.

Names that are on my list that DH doesn't like...
Hunter
Gunnar
Odin
Albie
Abel
Roman
Harrison
Greyson

@Xantus447 Rudy/Rudi or Eli - perfect

What about Harris? Prefer it to Harrison and less common than Harry

daisypond · 03/01/2020 19:03

Some of the suggested names are hugely biblical - Abel, Eli, Seth, Nathaniel, Caleb, Casper, etc.

I like Freya but don't like any of your boys names.

user1493494961 · 03/01/2020 23:06

There are some bloody awful names on this thread.

GingerRH · 04/01/2020 11:45

@user1493494961 we don't have any boys names hence the post as DH doesn't like any of the names I like.

God awful names but you don't give any of your own ideas.

And some really cool names also!

daisypond · 04/01/2020 12:03

Jethro and Seth are definitely biblical. Are you ruling out all New Testament names too? So things like Thomas, Peter, Luke, Matthew, Stephen are all out? What about saints’ names?

daisypond · 04/01/2020 12:06

How about something like Fletcher or Archer? A surname-type name?

People keep saying how some of the names are religious/biblical on origin. The OP has said several times that her list has been vetoed by her DH, partly because of this. She just gave us her list so we can see what she likes.

My DH hates all of my boys names too:
Sebastian
Zachary
Leo (or maybe Leon)
Jesse
Milo
Montgomery
Hugo

GingerRH · 07/01/2020 13:21

@peanutfoldover ATLEAST SOMEONE READS THE OP!

I love Sebastian but DH has a douche bag friend that's tainted the name so that another non starter
