Elizabeth is my favourite.
Also really love Lucy, Vivienne and Eleanor.
I dislike Adrianna and Penelope - not sure why. Noelle makes me think of the song Teenage Dirtbag

Poorolddaddypig · 26/12/2019 23:42

I love Adrianna and Eleanor.

BackforGood · 27/12/2019 00:23

Favourite - Elizabeth
Worst - Noelle

Jossina · 27/12/2019 00:29

Eleanor and Penelope are the best.

Grandmi · 27/12/2019 01:36

Elizabeth is my favourite...love Lizzie to shorten the name !

Astronica · 27/12/2019 01:38

I like them all except Noelle.

I can't choose between my 4 favourites: Eleanor, Lucy, Penelope, Elizabeth.

TARSCOUT · 27/12/2019 01:48

Friends DGD is Eleanor, shortened to Ellie and lengthened to smelly ellie at school!.children can be awful. Amelie is her other GD but this hasn't been shortened.

RockinHippy · 27/12/2019 02:03

Vivienne is lovely & much less common amongst little ones than the other names & I know 2 adults who are both amazing, talented & stylish women. Shortened to vivi is sweet for a little one too

Verily1 · 27/12/2019 02:07

Lucy

NewInTown08 · 27/12/2019 02:10

Eleanor favorite. Adrianna least favorite. I really like all the names on your list! Vivienne is beautiful.

Emelene · 27/12/2019 04:47

Eleanor or Elizabeth! Classic and so beautiful...

CakeRattleandRoll · 27/12/2019 06:49

Favourite: can't choose between Penelope or Vivienne
Least favourite: Noelle

Changedname81 · 27/12/2019 07:05

Eleanor / Elle - I like this with the Nor pronounced (not like Ellen-a iyswim) also prefer spelling Elinor

Vivienne - I love this but hate Viv

Lucy - simple and pretty - prob my fave girls name

Noelle - lovely also and reminds me of the Wheetus song

Adrianna - nope

Penelope - love the name in full but hate Penny or Nel

Elizabeth - classic but (IMO) dull

devilishlygood · 27/12/2019 07:38

I’m so surprised by the love for Eleanor and Elizabeth, they are such DULL names. You have some beautiful and more individual babes like Adrianna and Noelle on the list....listen to that side of your heart!

milliefiori · 27/12/2019 08:23

I don't see Elizabeth as dull at all because it's so versatile. It has more nicknames than any other name I can think of, so it can be adapted to any personality. Liz, Lizzie, Liza. Eliza, Elle, Ellie, Ella, Beth, Bettie, Libby. And in itself it is an elegant, classic name.

SheilaBruce · 27/12/2019 12:37

I love Eleanor and Elizabeth, both were on my shortlist. I didn't end up choosing either of those names because I didn't like the idea of Eleanor being pronounced in different ways (and having to forever explain "our" way) and I didn't like any of the nicknames for Elizabeth.

MadameJosephine · 27/12/2019 13:05

Elizabeth by a mile, gorgeous classic name with loads of scope for different shortenings. My favourite is Libby

MikeUniformMike · 27/12/2019 13:22

Eleanor / Elle - overused?
Vivienne - Viv? No.
Lucy - Lovely
Noelle - Awful
Adrianna - No. Adrienne is ok though
Penelope - ok
Elizabeth - if it's good enough for the queen.

RandDandC · 27/12/2019 17:29

My favourites are:
Noelle (was going to use it but dh refused because she was a Christmas baby)
Lucy
Vivienne

Nutkin123 · 27/12/2019 17:37

Boireannachlaidir · 27/12/2019 17:58
