Son is getting registered Friday and me and boyfriend agreed on Reece James for about a week or 2 and we were calling him it but now he's decided he doesn't like that name and wants to call him something else. Adam was on our list when I was pregnant but he doesn't look like an Adam and I don't really like it.

Any suggestions.

Names that are used in the family Alex, Corey, Freddie, Harry, Jordan, Luke, Owen, Riley, Thomas, William and Zack.

If you like a lovely classic name like Adam then how about peter or Christopher (nickname Kit), or just use the name Kit itself

MikeUniformMike · 04/12/2019 11:49

I don't like Reece.
I like James. You could call him James Reece.

GiveHerHellFromUs · 04/12/2019 11:54

Is James the middle name or surname? If it was the middle name, can you use that for the first name?

Nightfli · 04/12/2019 12:02

I like some of these names. James is the middle name but I don't know if it was go as a first name as the surname starts with an s and ends with an s

@Nightfli I think James Stevens is nice but James Stones doesn't work. Maybe it's because of the extra syllable.

Mamabear88 · 04/12/2019 12:04

I like Adam and James but not Reece.

Leopardprintboots · 04/12/2019 12:04

James is a gorgeous classic name @Nightfli much more classic than any of my suggestions - you could always use the nickname Jamie if you’re worried about the S at the end but I really don’t think it matters too much. 90% of the time people only use your first name

alphajuliet123 · 04/12/2019 12:06

How about James but call him Jamie? Would sound better with your surname. James Adam S s. Nice!

You don't need a name to register the baby. Don't name him in a hurry as you might regret it.

Like Leo, Fraser and Max. I also like Blake but not sure if Blake James goes. His dad said he wants to call him Jack but then we'd have to change the middle name and I don't like Jack that much.

He also likes Brandon but not sure it goes with middle and last name.

Jack is cool but what about Jackson if you don’t like Jack? @Nightfli

Carter? Parker?
