Is this a good baby name?

Its one of those names. It’s so awful that it’s adorable.

Magic Roundabout names are great. Dougal, Zebedee, Florence, Dylan - and yes, Brian. What's not to like? There was a Mr McHenry, and Henry is also a nice name. To be fair, I probably wouldn't go for Ermintrude or Mr Rusty, though. In the original black and white series there were also children called Paul, Basil and Rosalie.

When DS2 was born, sleep-deprived DH told many people he was called Brian. His name is Brodie.

No I love unusual names but Brian has always made me think “Brain” ever since I was a little girl

Prefer Bryan

I prefer Bryan as I always mis-type Brian as Brain...I was at school with a few Brians and they were all lovely. If you like it, go for it! Your little DS will make it his own.
