Did anyone find it harder naming last baby?

With DC1, we had a list of names we liked and then from around the beginning of the third trimester, one of them just felt right so we provisionally named him that with a few back ups just incase he didn't suit it when he was born.

This time round, it is our last baby, and all of a sudden I feel like it's so much harder to pick just one more name. I think with DC1 we often thought 'that's a nice name, we might use that next time' but now all of a sudden there won't be a next time and this is our last chance to use a name. And so now all names don't feel good enough! Grin

(And if you have any boys name suggestions, feel free to drop them here Wink)

How do you know it’s the last baby?

Yes much harder and we couldn't agree at all. I also spent over a year doubting my daughter's name and wishing I'd pushed harder for my favourite (still wish I had and she's 2 now!) and gutted I won't get to use the name that I loved for years. We are def not having any more as was our third and DH has had snip since lol.

Yes!! Number 4 was a nightmare to name. I still kind of wish we’d gone with a different one... and I also am still slightly sad we won’t ever have little Rosie- the girls name that we didn’t need since he was a boy!

Rosie is such a sweet name! I have so many girls names I love but boys names seem so much harder. I will have to get some chickens or something to use my girls names on Grin

My son is called micah (my-cah). I also like the name Luca and Benjamin. I'm struggling this time round too. Particularly with girl names. Do you care to share you're list? Grin

I found the last baby really hard to name.He was my 5th boy,so kind of running out of options.I like what we picked, even though it was a name we didnt like for our first.

meandmyboyz · 16/11/2019 15:48

Yes me , were on our third boy and last baby (I think lol) the first 2 boys names were chosen from about 12 weeks and we never waived ! This time im being induced in 16 days and still can't decide. I think it feels so much more important this time and I have no idea why ?

We found it a lot harder naming DS3, but I think that was mostly because we’d already used our favourite boys names.
