So my husband and I can't agree on any boys names at all ... if I like names such as Wyatt, Ethan, Leo what other names would you suggest. We agree on the name Aaron but someone we know has just called their new son Aaron so we would like something different.
Ideally we are looking for a name with a Rustic outdoors feel but not too unusual or weird. Smile

I know a lil boy named Remington and he is a rough and tumble and very adorable boy.
Too bad you have issues.

BonBon411 · 08/11/2019 13:37

For your info “Fizzy” Remington is a gun manufacturer.

diddlediddle · 08/11/2019 13:40

I think the reference was to razor manufacturers? Remington also make razors and hair dryers and stuff don't they? Guns isn't a great association.

diddlediddle · 08/11/2019 13:41

Maybe @BonBon411 needs a nice cuppa Brew

PsychosonicCindy · 08/11/2019 13:55

Remington Steele? Showing my age I know

BonBon411 · 08/11/2019 14:07

The lil Remington I know has two brothers and they all have “cowboy” names. Likely more popular here in the states. Remington is our oldest gun maker here. There is nothing wrong with guns if you are licensed and handle them responsibly.

diddlediddle · 08/11/2019 15:32

Ah I see from the states. Pro-gun. Turning a baby name thread into a discussion about gun manufacturers. Jolly good. You'll fit right in! Hmm

FizzyGreenWater · 08/11/2019 19:28

Lol BonBon you actually reported my post! WOW you seriously need a sit down, yes. You're that offended at someone repeating REMINGTON? in a horrifed voice?

You need a way thicker skin on baby names I'm afraid!

Remington is absolutely awful, and yes here it just makes you think of the razor manufacturer. Which is why is said, what next, call him Gilette Mach III?

That's a joke, just in case you don't recognise one, being a humourless gun lobby weirdo n'all!

Go on report ya wee twatbag Grin

Frith2013 · 09/11/2019 09:36

Remington? I didn’t know it was a sort of gun (being British and therefore not obsessed with them) but by God, that’s an appalling name.

Frith2013 · 09/11/2019 09:52

Having said it in my head a few times (trying to make it less dire), I’ve realised it morphs into “rimming tongue”. So, no opportunity for teasing there, then.

So many brilliant suggestions 😍 thank you! a few are standing out I love the names Ezrah and Myles is just beautiful 😊 I don't know what it is about boys names that we find so difficult, I have two girls names that I adore and I think I'm putting a lot of pressure on myself to find a boys name that I love just as much
