Which boy's name?

This is my list of boys names so far. Which do you like? Would love suggestions based on my taste too. Our surname is one syllable so don't think one syllable first names work.

Louis
Billy
Henry
Cian
Caleb
Xavier
Xander
Curtis
Aiden
Ciaran
Hayden
Evan
Roman
Milo

Love your names OP

Don’t like Roman though, will date really quickly as its burst out of nowhere to be a top 50 name and it climbs so much year on year that it’ll be top 20 soon. Names that burst in popularity like this date really quickly as they suddenly disappear and Roman will be this generations Darren or Keith.

How about

Rudi/Rudy
Eli
Ellis
Barnaby
Miles

MissHenty · 31/10/2019 12:59

Ps I love Louis and lots of others on your list

Newbiemumsy66 · 31/10/2019 13:02

Don’t really like any of them I’m afraid. How about Miles?

Pcosmama · 31/10/2019 20:07

Henry is one of my favourite boy names EVER!

From your list I also like Louis, Billy and Xander. I don't think Louis sounds too similar to Luca.

Other suggestions:
Isaac
Zachary
Marcus
Benji
Jacob

Such GORGEOUS names. Don’t like Roman or Hayden at all though sorry

Have you narrowed down your list at all @BlueRaincoat89

BlueRaincoat89 · 02/11/2019 10:43

@MissHenty Louis is my favourite and we both like it too. I like Billy a lot too but not sure about giving a nickname as a name. I've still got ages to go so plenty of time to change my mind Grin

Ah ok come back and let us know when you’ve had baby @BlueRaaincoat89

Louis is such a lovely name xx

MissHenty · 02/11/2019 10:55

Whoops @BlueRaincoat89

Zoflorabore · 02/11/2019 10:57

I absolutely love Caleb and it was on my list when I had dd. Also had Oscar.

I have a ds already but had his name chosen when I was a little girl :)

user1493494961 · 02/11/2019 11:11

If Louis is your favourite then go with that, you might regret it if you don't.

MissHenty · 02/11/2019 11:16

@Zoflorabore intrigued!! what’s your Ds called if you don’t mind me asking? Perhaps I’ll DM you

MissHenty · 02/11/2019 11:20

@user1493494961 I agree! I love the fact that Kate and William obviously loved the name Louis that they used it as George’s middle name but couldn’t resist using it again for Louis’ first name. It really is a cracking name x

Lavenderblues · 02/11/2019 11:24

Louis is nice but be aware that many non French speakers will pronounce it Lou-is. It's a popular name in Germany and always pronounced Lou-is there. I think Americans also pronounce the s in the city of St Louis!

This may or may not bother you Smile

Zoflorabore · 02/11/2019 13:07

@MissHenty he is called Oliver which isn’t unusual at all but in 2003 when he was born it raised a few eyebrows!

It was my mum’s favourite film as a child and then mine and I just loved the name. He tends to use Ollie now though which still suits him. I was ahead of the time I think Grin
