It's a boy!

Found out today we are having a boy! I'm thrilled as we have 1 ds and 2dds at present so at least 7 year old ds wont be leaving home which he threatened to do if this one was a girl!
So which boys name would you pick? To give you an idea of our taste we have Joseph, Susannah and Cassia. Hello to anyone who spots me ha ha.

If you like Daniel, how about the other angel names: Gabriel, Rafael, Michael, Castiel - the last would fit with the 3rd letter S pattern!

I've just been looking at a list of angels for inspiration. Did you know that the angel of intelligence was called Barman? 😂😂😂

Is Castiel actually an angel? I'm fairly certain that it isn't biblical. Is it post biblical mythology or from a non-Christian religion?

How old are your other children? We asked DD1 for suggestions and although we didn’t end up using any of her ideas exactly, it actually helped with inspiration!

My first thought with those sibling names: Matilda or Matthias Smile

Nathan, Old Testament name, goes well with Joseph, if Angel names appeal, Michael. Powerful archangel, healer, protector.

Michael would be nice, I agree with the pp.
Raphael, Gabriel would be very traditional as well.

Other angel names (or names for kinds of angels):
Grigori (the watchers), Jeremiel, Serafin, Uriel and are some of the more wearable biblical ones IIRC.

There are more actually named angels in Christian or Jewish (and maybe also Muslim? Idk) mysticism but Idk if you'd want to draw inspiration from these sources....

Great idea to ask the kids...ds aged 7 said Ethan (his bf at school) and Sherlock (his nans cat) and Boss from Boss baby. Dd4 said Florence and Lawrence. Thankfully DD2 is too little to have any input 🙈
