What do people think? I’m really struggling with a name for DD2 and this is the only one that has come to me - hadn’t considered it first time round. Really don’t like Viv so nickname would be Vivi/Vivvy? But obviously wouldn’t be able to control what she ends up as. Middle name suggestions also welcome! Thank you

It’s a nice name. As a teacher I’ve taught one in 16 years, recently in the infant age range. No one shortened her to Viv.

Always reminds me of the young ones when I hear the name

It's my daughter's name. She is Viv/Vivi/Bibi/Bib/Vivienne, I love the name when I saw it and still am in love with it. Always had compliments when people hear her name and I like how uncommon it is in the real world.

Love it, but not sure how well you could avoid Viv as nn ( I think Viv is fine!)

I'm a Vivienne. I really like it now because it's just a little bit unusual, but I didn't like it as a child. My mother called me Vivi, unless she was cross with me, then it was Vivienne . Oh and it was hard to say the V sound at the beginning when I was little. I said Wivi. My friends could only manage "Bibian" when we were pre-school age.

I like Vivienne but in comparison with a strong, neat name like Anna it's a bit too frilly.

I'd suggest Vivien instead, same pronunciation in English, just shorter & less fussy.

I know a little 3 year old with this name and she goes by Vivi, I think it’s really sweet
