Which girls name do you like best?

I'm not even 100% sure I'm having a girl yet but I just love picking out girls names anyway. So I'm hoping for one!

Would just love to know which names you like best? If I have a girl, her middle name will be Jane after my great-auntie who died of cancer at age 16.

My favourite names are:

Amelia
Bella
Adelaide
Ava
Eliza
Eva

Not Amelia Jane because of the books, as has already been said.

There's an old & very catchy song about an Eliza Jane, so that would rule out that combination for me.

I don't like Adelaide at all - I think 'laide' means 'ugly' in French.

Bella is a diminutive to me, but Isabella Jane known as Bella would be lovely.

Ava Jane & Eva Jane are quite nice, short & sweet. But both Ava & Eva are very popular.

They're all pleasant and extremely popular choices, except Adelaide which will split opinion but is not a typical 2019 name. For that reason I'd go for Adelaide. It's much more interesting.

The rest are nice but very popular.
Why not name her Jane?

They are all ‘ok’ names if a little overused. All are useable with the exception of Adelaide which just reminds me of Australia.
Of the others Eva is my favourite

I have an Eliza Jane. It's a great name and the song is cute. The older ones dubbed her Ellie when she was born and she has been ever since.

They are all good names though Bella is a diminutive of Isabella and it's nicer to give the full name even if you shorten it to a nickname.
