Georgina or Maxine?

Maxine is a hideous name.

Georgina is lovely

I don't like either. Maxine is awful.

Georgia is nice though

Georgina is miles better than Maxine. The one I worked with was small, brash and hard as nails!

Maxine sounds chavy to me, i can imagine someone wearing a shell suit called Maxine

I much prefer Georgina. I love all the George names. I like the nn Max for a girl, but prefer it for Maxima or Maximillienne - or something else.

I really like the sound of Georgina, it is my favourite of the 'George' names for girls. Just flows nicely and there is the choice of Georgie or Gina for nicknames.

Maxine is OK I suppose but still does seem quite dated and has a made up vibe.

They both sound like names for shire horses. Georgina better though as Maxine is either Peake (with an accent too unbearable for me to watch her) or Ian Huntley’s girlfriend.
