What are your impressions of the name Maximilian, called Max day to day? Middle name and surname are one syllable each so think the longer version works with them.

I have a Maximilian and I love his name. I like a long, strong name that can be shorten and provides options. I really glad we decided on this rather than just Max.

Great choice. You always have the option of shortening a long name, whereas if you pick the short version to start with you have no options to lengthen or make sound more formal.
