Middle name for Alice

Hi,
Which middle name for Alice do you like? Here's our list, please let us know what you think:

Alice Charlotte
Alice Beatrice
Alice Margaret
Alice Rose
Alice Juliet
Alice Matilda

I know an Alice Rosita which works better in my opinion and is not as ubiquitous as Rose as a middle name.

My favourites are:

Alice Charlotte
Alice Beatrice
Alice Margaret
Alice Matilda

Alice Maud
Alice Rosina
Alice Bianca

Alice Juliet is simply perfect

Juliet sounds beautiful with Matilda a close second
Don’t like Beatrice as it’s a bit repetitive

I had to double read this post then because it’s SO similar to one I did. Alice is my favourite name and the combinations are all ones I adore too- fantastic taste! Alice Margaret and Alice Juliet are my favourite!

Alice Charlotte and Alice Matilda are lovely.
When dd was in primary school more than half the girls in her class had Rose as a middle name and a quarter had May.
They're the filler middle names (the Janes and Louises of today).

Alice Matilda. Rose is a bit of a default middle name.

Alice Margaret or Alice Matilda. Both lovely and medieval sounding.

2. Alice Juliet
3. Alice Charlotte

Not Charlotte or Beatrice, but any of the others are fine.

I think we are deciding between Alice Rose and Alice Juliet. What do you think?

I much prefer Juliet. Rose is very predictable and like you’ve not thought about it.

I thought Alice Rose before seeing your list. Also Alice Emilia or Alice Imogen.

Can i throw Alice Eliza to the mix?

Alice Juliet in that case.

I agree with @NoSauce that Rose is like you’ve not really thought about it because it’s just basically the standard middle name everyone uses.

I also like Alice Beatrice and Alice Charlotte, but the first rhymes and the second seems hard to pronounce. Do you agree or am I overthinking?

I was going to say Charlotte before I saw your list. I personally think Alice needs a longer middle name. I don’t think Alice Charlotte is hard to pronounce . I think It is a beautiful name!

We have an Alice Rose and she loves her name. However, this was some years ago when very few people were using the name Rose. It has become very much more popular more recently.
