Penelope. I used to buy posters from Athena. Penelope was on my girl list many years ago, I would have hoped for polly as a nn rather than penny.

I guess you need to be late 30s but all I can think of with Athena is the tennis girl with her arse out, sorry can't link Pic but Google athena poster and it comes right up.
Sorry don't like Penny as I think of spend a penny but then that's also showing my age.

Athena by miles for me.

Nothing wrong with Penelope, but it’s never floated my boat and seems Kardashian-trendy these days. I know 3 under 3 months old.

Athena- Goddess of wisdom

Penelope- Faithful wife to Odysseus, while he went off to fight a war for 10 years and then he took another 10 years of getting back while he slept around with every female available. Meanwhile, Penelope was left all alone raising their son and on top of that he waltz back in her life and she was ever so grateful.

I am not a fan of Odysseus. It always annoyed me that Penelope was faithfully waiting for him while he was sleeping around.

Sorry off topic and not that it matters in name choosing but whenever i hear of a Penelope i always think of that Penelope.

I prefer Penelope as I love the stronger sounds and the short forms - Nell, Poppy, Polly. If popularity matters to you though I would use Athena.
