Is Sasha a boy's name or girl's name for you?

There were quite a few girl Sashas at my schools in the eighties and nineties.

Now, I also think ‘men in Russian novels’.

Both and I love the name either way.

I know male & female of both Sasha and Sacha.

Cat, girl, golden retriever, poodle, boy in that order of popularity round here.

It’s a boy’s name but I’d spell it Sacha. As in Distell.

I've only ever heard it as a female name

Russian abbreviation for Alexandra or Alexander. Could work for a boy or girl.

Either, similar to Alex, Lesley, Kim, Jordan, all of which in RL I know way more males.

My son is Sachin nn Sacha he’s mixed Anglo Indian and I still love it 16 years on.

I prefer it as a girls name and it sounds more like a girls name but I know it’s ‘supposed’ to be a boys name.
