Sibling for Noah & Louis

over the past 5 years I’ve literally looked at over 10,000 names! We aren’t finding out the sex this time so need to have both boy and girl’s names sorted and I’m kind of stuck. We have Noah and Louis and want something a little different but not too out there (Noah isn’t really common where we live surprisingly). Surname double barrelled T-K. Shortlist so far:

Boys
Gabriel (liked since the start but worried about ‘Gay’ nickname, although less so since Noah’s started school)
Edwin (family name) nn Eddie
Asher
Rafferty nn Rafa
Caleb
Griffin

Girl names:
Violet
Liliana which I love but Lily is way too popular
Arabella
Niamh (pron Neeve)
Cassidy as an out there name
Luna ditto but not sure about ‘lunatic’ nn

Any suggestions welcome! Thanks in advance Smile

Girl names:

Arabella - no

@LTK73
Yes we get Lewis as well. We don't tend to get Gabe. I love our names, we always get complimented. I think Gabriel is my fave name though!

Noah, Louis and Ollie

KronksSpinachPuffs · 27/08/2019 22:57

Gabriel - absolutely nothing wrong with it but not too keen personally
Edwin (family name) nn Eddie- this is actually quite cute but it is quite posh
Asher - too American for my taste
Rafferty nn Rafa - cute but again v posh!
Caleb - ok
Griffin - too American again

Girl names:
Violet - pretty, but I'd say depends on where you live as it can sound pretty awful in some accents
Liliana which I love but Lily is way too popular - I actually really like this!
Arabella - nice
Niamh (pron Neeve) - nice
Cassidy as an out there name - actually really like this!
Luna ditto but not sure about ‘lunatic’ nn - I really love Luna, I think as it's become more popular recently I wouldn't worry about lunatic as a nn

My favourites from your list would probably be Rafferty and Luna

@KronksSpinachPuffs thanks! I’m so aware of ‘posh’ names as our surname can make some names sound ridiculously posh! We live in an area where Violet would sound fine. Thanks again!

Caleb is good.

Jago
Arlo

I would only use Niamh if you have Irish connections.

Hepzibah
Nancy
