We found out we're having a girl, due in November. Can you give your opinions on these names? There's no front-runner at the moment for us! Thanks

I have a Clara and she’s 5 yet we’ve never met another - I love her name so I have to say Clara!
I also love Alba

Thanks for all the replies. Eliza was on my list but my DH vetoed it.

Anna and Clara seem to be leading on here. I love them both but they're getting a bit popular where I am. I've met two baby Claras this year and I know a few Annas of various ages.

I think I'm going to rule out Sophie for popularity. At least the list of going down Smile

I don't mind Millie as a nickname, but I'd give her a proper name too. Camilla? Also Emily, Amelia, Millicent are possibilities.

Think Alba is a bit out there and the others a bit boring!- That's just my opinion though :)

Alba is nice if you want something a bit different, although I do worry it gets lost in the sea of Ayla/Aria/Ada/etc etc type names.

Clara is good. Anna is classic. Millie is a nickname - might work with a longer version only don't choose Amelia/Emilia. Glad you've ruled out Sophie.

I love Anna, Clara and Sophie. Millie is too nicknamey for me and sorry, not keen on Alba.

We're going with Anna 🤩 A lovely name with no issues, and it's not too popular with children under 10 where we are. Thanks!
