Lola sounds like a stripper.

Eva - there are about 20 million, Eva, Evie, Emies, Edies, Ellie, Ella & Elsie's at the moment.

Teachers will be happy to have a kid with a different name and Frankie is such a cool nickname for a little girl.

Frances. It’s strong, elegant and classic. Lola and Eva are a bit faddy, in my opinion.

I love Lola. I don’t care if it’s apparently a stripper name, I have what some people claim is a stripper name and personally I think I own it! Grin I also know a couple of Lolas whose parents are very well off and ‘respectable’, so I think that view is becoming a bit dated.

Frances is a bit clunky to me, and I really struggle to picture a baby or little girl could Frances. It also instantly makes me think of Dirty Dancing which might be a good or a bad thing for you! To me it’s in the same vein as a name like Josephine, which is always very popular on here. Eva is perfectly nice, but there are a lot of girls about called Eva/Ava/Eve at the moment.

Frances is lovely, an underused classic

Eva is ok but has been very heavily used over the last say 15 years so will date her to this era / she may be one of many at school

Lola is a bit insubstantial, there’s the song, it also reminds me of Lolita - not good!

Frances- I think it’s gorgeous for a child and an adult. Depending on the child’s personality they can be a Frances, Fran, Frankie etc- so much more scope than the other two names.

Again Lola makes me think of show girl song. Eva is nice but increasingly becoming popular.

Eva: pretty and timeless.

Francis: old-fashioned and dull.
Lola: dog’s name.

Eva without a doubt. It's a timeless classic. My grandmother, who was born in 1906, was called Eva and it's a name that will never date.
