Best girls name from our choices?

Layleah · 25/08/2019 12:54

My DH and I have whittled down our choices of names. So we now need help in choosing the one! We have a combo of old fashioned and modern names but feel most of our choices are non conventional.

So far we like
Liberty
India
Madison (or maddison)
Sienna
Autumn
Adelaide

My question is which one is your favourite?
Please be kind. Also are any too out there? Hmm

Aside from Adelaide I’d say they were all modern.
I love India. Liberty is pretty, but I don’t like any of the nns (Libby or Bertie) I blow hot and cold with Sienna. At the moment I’m cold.
Don’t like any of the others.

Witchofzog · 25/08/2019 13:03

I blow hot n cold with Sienna too. But overall I quite like it. Autumn is pretty. Don't like Liberty at all. Sorry, I used to buy sanitary products called Liberty and it reminds me of that

Mumshappy · 25/08/2019 13:05

I really like Autumn. Not keen on any of the others.

All seem modern to me too. Not keen on any to be honest, but as with pp, India or Liberty. Madison is pretty awful.

underthebridgedowntown · 25/08/2019 13:06

Madison is my favourite of those, followed by Liberty (mostly as I like the nn Libby). Not a huge fan of the others

20viona · 25/08/2019 13:07

Liberty.

Layleah · 25/08/2019 13:08

Thanks for the feedback
Liberty was popular in the 1920s.

I love Liberty.

buttonup26 · 25/08/2019 13:10

Liberty

IggyAce · 25/08/2019 13:12

I love Autumn and Adelaide.

DuchessOfDukeStreet · 25/08/2019 13:16

Liberty feels quite early 2000s to me - isn't it what Victoria Beckham's sister called her daughter? (I wish I didn't know stuff like that...) In fact, they all feel quite 2000s?

I like Adelaide best of those - really not keen on Madison or Sienna, sorry.

AgeBeforeBeauty · 25/08/2019 13:16

Sienna

Rinoa · 25/08/2019 13:18

Only one I like is Madison :) liberty sounds kind of like a stripper name (sorry!)

IVEgottheDECAF · 25/08/2019 13:19

Liberty or Autumn but only if born in Autumn!

kenandbarbie · 25/08/2019 13:24

To me they're all a bit late 1990s early 2000s. Autumn is the nicest through.

Runningsmooth · 25/08/2019 13:26

Autumn.
I don't like Madison at all.

AgeBeforeBeauty · 25/08/2019 13:27

Some people will have trouble spelling Autumn. And as above, will the baby be born in the autumn?

allabouteve1 · 25/08/2019 13:29

Liberty of Adelaide

BunchMunch · 25/08/2019 13:29

Adelaide.
A beautiful, timeless name.

All the others are a bit meh - sorry!

AgeBeforeBeauty · 25/08/2019 13:33

But with Adelaide, it's hard to spell and people might think that's where she was conceived ... which may well be true Grin

Robs20 · 25/08/2019 13:39

Love adelaide. Don't like Liberty at all, sorry!

bridgetreilly · 25/08/2019 13:51

I like Adelaide and Sienna.

AverageMummy · 25/08/2019 15:11

Liberty - not a fan
India - dislike
Madison (or maddison) - truly terrible up there with Jayden etc
Sienna - nice
Autumn - nice
Adelaide - nice
