Beatrix Viola - beautiful and strong
Odette Viola - pretty
Cecilia Violet - pretty
Violet Felicity - not a fan

Overall it’s a fantastic list to me. I think Beatrix & Cecilia stand out to me although I love Viola & Felicity as first name options

Viola Beatrix
Felicity Odette

@Phillipa12 I love the little surprise detour down rat lane Grin - I definitely heard scratching under the floorboards the other night Sad

userabcname · 23/08/2019 09:24

I love Odette! I think it's beautiful.
I like Beatrix and Violet is nice although I feel both are becoming very popular (not that that's necessarily a problem if you love them!).
I don't know how I feel about Cecelia - I didn't used to like it but I am warming to it now and it has some nice options for nicknames.

Astronica · 23/08/2019 09:30

I think all 4 of your first names work well next to sister Aurora. However my personal favourites are Beatrix, Odette and Violet - hard to choose one of those as I really like them all. But going on first and middle combos I like Violet Felicity best. I'm not so keen on Viola. What about Beatrix Violet or Odette Felicity?

Modestandatinybitsexy · 23/08/2019 16:22

We just picked Beatrix as a middle name for DD. It's a favourite and would have been a first but we already have a B name.

Congratulations on your dd!

CakeRattleandRoll · 23/08/2019 17:37

Odette is definitely my favourite.

user1493494961 · 23/08/2019 17:44

I like Violet Felicity.

diddlediddle · 23/08/2019 17:46

I think aurora and cecilia together are a bit much so I'm going to say pick one of the others.

I don't like viola - I suspect you are naming after the flower but I only see the instrument, which is pronounced differently. Violet is nicer I think. I don't like felicity either but all the other combos are nice.

I'd probably choose Beatrix Violet or what about violet cecilia or Odette cecilia ?

LizzyMargaret · 23/08/2019 18:16

Do you think Aurora and Cecilia are too much together because they both end in the same sound?

I don't think Aurora & Cecilia would be too much for sisters, especially as for most of their lives they won't be a "pair", but will be individual people. They are both lovely, though very different, names.

Cathyheathcliff · 23/08/2019 23:37

Love Cecilia Violet! Beautiful names and flows so well with Aurora

LadyGAgain · 23/08/2019 23:46

Why not Viola as first name? Works alongside Aurora

LizzyMargaret · 24/08/2019 09:41

Odette was originally our front runner but I don’t know if we’d actually be brave enough to use it. It seems more unusual than Aurora or any of our other options. We went with Viola for the middle name because Odette Violet would be over kill, IMO. I think Viola flows better following Beatrix too.

If we were to use one for the first name however, it would be Violet. We slightly prefer it plus it has a few more nickname options.

Cecilia Violet is probably my favourite in terms of flow, Beatrix Viola being second. Odette and Violet have always been two of my favourite names too so this is tough!

I think we should re think Beatrix Violet and Violet Cecilia too as they’ve been suggested quite a bit. I love Felicity Violet but I don’t feel right using Felicity as a first name seeing as my friend has one that we see often.

I think you should be brave enough to use your favourite!

How about Odette Beatrix?

bridgetreilly · 24/08/2019 12:28

Cecilia Violet is lovely.

DramaAlpaca · 24/08/2019 12:32

I really love Violet Felicity.

CassianAndor · 24/08/2019 12:33

Beatrix
Cecilia

LizzyMargaret · 24/08/2019 12:47

Perhaps Cecily Violet or Cecily Viola would be a better fit than Cecilia?

OP posts:
diddlediddle · 24/08/2019 22:09

YES I actually thought Cecily for you earlier today! Much better, really like it.

joystir59 · 25/08/2019 14:38

They are all good names OP. My vote would be Felicity Violet
