Final name decision

So, my triplets (1 boy and 2 girls) were born Yesterday. The boy is called Mateo but we are struggling with middle names as we would like to incorporate our daughter (Rosie Jade) name in the triplets name as she died a few years ago and they never got to meet her. The girls are:

1. Aurora (already being nn Rory)
2. And either Liliana Rose or Inés Rose.

Please can you suggest middle names for Mateo and Aurora and help us decide between Liliana Rose and Inés Rose.

Inès Rose (this is gorgeous and I much prefer Inès to Liliana - note correct accent though)

For Aurora, is there another middle name you could give her that would link with her sister eg the month or season of her birth (if it works as a name)?

I like PP's suggestion of Aurora Josie - Josie has J from Jade and -osie from Rosie (although the s sound is different)

How about using other colour names to represent Rosie Jade? Maybe Aurora could have Emerald, Olive, Hazel or Willow as her middle name? And maybe your other daughter could use Ruby or Scarlet as hers? If you wanted to continue with a colour theme of to link Rosie Jade with Mateo's name too, there are lots of names for boys that mean red e.g. Aidan, Blaze, Rowan, Rufus, Red or that represent red things e.g. Fox. Phoenix is another idea for Mateo as it means dark red. Sage or Forest would work as green names to link to Jade.

I prefer Ines Rose (sorry can't do the accent on my keyboard).

I read in a name book that Jade is said to 'transmit courage, clarity, justice...' and suggest Claire meaning light or clarity - Aurora Claire, and Louis meaning 'brave knight or renowned warrior' for courage - Mateo Louis. So perhaps subtle references to Jade, but it's what works for you.

Congrats on your triplets! 💕💙💕 So sorry about your little girl, I love the idea of giving her siblings a little piece of her name. How about Mateo Jaden, Liliana rose and Aurora Jaro ( jaro sounds pretty trendy and is a combo of jade and rose)

Congrats on the triplets arrivals and all, but isn't this like your sixth thread asking what to name them? Why not just go back to a thread youve made?

And if the previous 5 threads haven't given you the answer then maybe the Name Boards on MN aren't the right place to keep asking?

Aurora joy or aurora Eliana (means gift from god)

Roisin means "little rose"

Mateo, Aurora and Ines. Can't think of any middle names that haven't already been suggested sorry. Congratulations btw!!!

You could use Chloe as a middle name for Aurora? It could be a link to Jade, meaning greenstone, and also the idea of new life and a new beginning.

Definitely Ines. I prefer Aurora Rose to Ines Rose. Liliana Rose is too flowery.

Aurora Poppy (another flower which is also the flower associated with remembrance)

MimiSunshine I’ve only just seen this but believe it or not we actually went with Aurora Poppy, we chose Liliana because I love the name Lily but we went with Liliana Kate.
