Baby boy due in 3 weeks....still not decided on names!

Our surname is Irish

I like names that can't be easily abbreviated (so nothing like William or Daniel), and I generally like shorter names - also, I would like something that works outside of UK too

-Liam
-Leo
-Joseph
-Frank
-Francis
-Séan
-Gabriel

Sean- but I’m bias. I never knew one, o I’d heard the name, and I feel in love with it, and there was no one I could associate the name with. Having several teachers in the family too, none had taught one. So no ‘I taught one of those once...’ like I had with every other name suggested. He was the only one with his name throughout school, and now in university. Ds2 also had an Irish name too. But we aren’t Irish, just coincidence.

I also like Gabriel from your list.

Some other suggestions- Adam, Cole, Elijah, Eli, Fabian, Gideon, Grayson, Horacio, Hunter, Issac, Leigh, Matteo, Marcus, Nate, Nathaniel, Quinn, Rafe, Riley, Saul, Seth, Samson, Tate, Xavier

Am I missing the point here OP. You say you do not want names that can be abbreviated, but you have Joseph and Gabriel on your list (Jo and Gabe). Then other posters offer up long names that can be abbreviated. I'm just confused (or being very thick at the moment).

If you care about names matching.
I wouldn’t put Gabriel or Sean with Harry.
Frank. Leo or Liam.
I think I’d go with Liam

Bobby. Freddy. Oliver. Sam. Tommy. Reggie. Teddy. Toby. Billy. Finley

I can’t stand the name Liam. Knew one, he was an utter shite! Sorry. The name is very heavily linked to travellers here, which I am not suggesting is negative as they are a very friendly community in my experience, but it would concern many a

I would think you’d have to have a very strong personality to pull off Francis. It’s a bit marmite compared to your other names.

And having a name as prevalent as Harry, maybe sticking with something equally as popular would work better....
