What do people think of this name? We're really struggling to find a middle name, I prefer one syllable names with Daisy. Also love the name Lily, so can anyone suggest middle names to go with Daisy or Lily? I came across Beau today and actually really like it, but curious as to what others think (I know I shouldn't care but I don't know if hormones are allowing me to think straight)Grin

I have a relative's child who is called Daisy Beau. My dad pointed out to me that it really should be Daisy Belle. I think Daisy Belle is much prettier.

I like the suggestion of Daisy Elizabeth. I think it goes better with a longer middle name.

I know a Daisy Jane (like Daisy Chain). That's nice.

I thought Beau was a male name - like Beau Brummell and Beau Geste.

So I think I’d swap to Bo.

It sounds like you are thick and don't know what Beau means - which you didn't.

Why are people freaking out over Beau being a boys name. Plenty of boys names are given to girls as MNs or even FNs.
Eg. Rae. Leigh. Jo. Robyn. No one Moans about them.

The stupid is strong with some here.

SoyDora · 20/08/2019 09:14

It’s not that Beau is a boys name, it’s that the word ‘beau’ is the masculine form of ‘beautiful’ and therefore seems a strange name to give a girl. No one is freaking out, just pointing out that it’s odd.

raskolnikova · 20/08/2019 09:42

It would be like calling a boy Belle...

Cookit · 20/08/2019 10:10

@Awwlookatmybabyspider Robyn is a girls name, it’s Robin that is a boys name. Also Jo is typically a girls name (a nickname for Joanne, Joanna, Josephine etc) whereas Joe is the boy’s name (Joseph).
The rest of your examples are just names that happen to be unisex or whatever.

Beau is very different to that.
