Due in 10 days and no name. HELP

Lplus2 · 16/08/2019 05:13

We are due our second baby in 10 days and can’t decide on a name. We are team green so need suggestions for both boys and girls names.

Husband and I are both Irish, moved to Australia a few years back. Not sure if we will stay in Australia or return home. We like Irish names but not to irish that people here in Australia don’t get it. We have a Son who’s name is Seán. Surname is Daly.

Few that have come up are
Conor
Alex
Blake
Or

Alana
Elle

That’s it!
But not sold on any of them.

Help.

Thanks x

Boys' :

Aidan (I especially like the meaning of "little fiery one" !)

Ruairí (or Rory, if you think spelling may be an issue for others)

Cashel (if it's good enough for Daniel Day-Lewis, then... Wink )

Girls' :

Keeva (the Caoimhe traditional spelling may be a step too far?)

Niamh/Neve

Best of luck for a smooth and speedy delivery!

I do like Alex from your original options, too.

I love the name Ronan, so going to throw that one in there for boys as it needs more love

I love the name shae for a boy, or taylen. For a girl, I like soiarse, but would probably spell it,so it could be pronounced easier
