Thoughts on Kolinda? Middle name would probably be Belle.

It doesn't appeal to me at all. But then I don't generally like 'inda' names eg Belinda and Melinda. I don't mind Lucinda though. I like Colette and Colleen for some similar sounds.

It’s a Hindi / Hindu name.

We considered it - Dc part Indian- but rejected it as too close to colander if mispronounced.

I don't like it, sorry - I just think it doesn't look or sounds very pretty.

I also like the name Kalinda, but it's a Sanskrit name. If you aren't from a Hindu culture I think it would be a really odd choice for your baby. (If you are from a Hindu culture then go for it!).

I really don't understand how anyone can confuse the pronunciation! Kolinda is lovely, and different. It's also a bit weird that people don't like others going out of their naming culture - it's like saying if you are from Kenya you can't name your child George or Rebecca.
