DC2 due in 2 weeks and we cannot agree on a name. It’s a boy - we already have a DD Freya.

Thoughts on Flynn? He’d probably be Flynn Patrick.

I'm not keen on it. I think it's the Fl... bit. Nothing good starts with Fl... Flab, Flint, Flubber, Flibbertigibbet, Flabbergasted etc.

Forgot floppy and flacid.

Love it

Going by these reactions, Flynn is definitely a marmite type name. The search goes on!

What about Finian? Probably a few spelling options.

Fatkins · 23/07/2019 22:52

Finbar?

StCharlotte · 23/07/2019 22:54

Fionan?

(Although I assumed it was a girl's name until I met him!)

Tartyflette · 23/07/2019 23:01

It's OK but don't do as some parents I know and spell it Flyn.
Not only does it look like a spelling mistake but the poor kid's in for a lifetime of saying 'no, just one N.'
