Hello! I love the name Harper, but I can't help associate it a lot with the Beckhams.. thoughts?

A bit boring and popular for my liking. Not a very cute name doesn't help when every Harper I know has obnoxious parents either

Lavenderblues · 20/07/2019 21:05

Awful and unfeminine, sorry.

mmmmbopp · 20/07/2019 21:07

Haha ok well you've all managed to put me off it! (Which is fine, I wanted honesty Smile)

ah shame.

while I do get the beckham association I love the name

AllStar14 · 20/07/2019 21:09

I know two toddlers called Harper. I like it, I don't love it. Much prefer Scout if we're going with a TKAMB theme :-)

daisypond · 20/07/2019 21:22

How about Hester?

99bb · 20/07/2019 22:45

I’m a big TKAM fan so always had it as a dream middle name for one day down the line...then the Beckhams totally wrecked it 😂

Astronica · 21/07/2019 07:28

Though I don't mind this style of name and quite like the sounds, it has become too trendy, and yes, first thought is the Beckhams.

AnonymousP · 21/07/2019 07:59

How about Piper instead? Love that!

EugenesAxe · 21/07/2019 08:36

Hester would make me think of Uncle Fester, but then young kids might not have heard of him.

I’m not fond of Harper.
