Thoughts on Joanna?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
SwedishEdith · 15/07/2019 20:46

Yes, just for this alone.

MrsBertBibby · 15/07/2019 20:47

Give me hope!

I like it. Haven't seen a Joanna in years.

Chocolatecake12 · 15/07/2019 20:48

Love it! Really due a comeback.

AmericanLemonade · 15/07/2019 20:49

Love it

Goforitgirl · 15/07/2019 20:55

I’m a Joanna :)
As long as you’re ok with her being called Joanne almost every day of her life and having to correct them Sad

I can’t picture it on a baby at all but I think that’s always the case with your own name Grin

Sophronia · 15/07/2019 21:10

Love it!

GnomeoNameo · 15/07/2019 21:11

Joanna or Johanna are both lovely

CalamBalam · 15/07/2019 21:13

Good name.

Similar reason to, @SwedishEdith but a different song for me!

Goforitgirl · 15/07/2019 21:18

There are SO MANY SONGS

SecretNutellaFix · 15/07/2019 21:18

I love it.

It's classic, everyone has heard of it, it's easy to spell and pronounce.

CalamBalam · 15/07/2019 21:24

I'd love a name that had a song! My poor name is songless! Sad Grin

AnonymousP · 15/07/2019 21:24

Lovely

Rtmhwales · 15/07/2019 21:25

Sounds lovely and I doubt there will be any in school with her Smile

Peachbubble · 15/07/2019 21:30

I've always liked it

CalamBalam · 15/07/2019 21:57

Joanna is the number one Twitter trend at the moment, OP. i'm assuming it's Love Island related Grin

Frith2013 · 15/07/2019 22:23

Boring. 1970s.

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 15/07/2019 22:24

Yes! Love it, especially the version with an “h”.

Joeybee · 15/07/2019 22:52

My name is Joanna. As a girl and teenager I went by Jo, because I thought it sounded ' cool' and then as I've got older I use Joanna. I've never had another Joanna in my classes, which I like, but it's not such an unusual name that people haven't heard of it. There's loads of nickname potential for this name and it's a name that has a long history. One thing I've always found really annoying is that people often call me Joanne...which is a different name and I hate it, I've had to correct people my whole life with that. You wouldn't call a Nicola Nicole, so why call a Joanna Joanne?!

Tillygetsit · 15/07/2019 22:55

I really like it. My cousin's a Joanna and very glamorous with 3 gorgeous children.

PrincessLouis · 15/07/2019 23:25

I like it! Classic but underused - great choice!

MollyHuaCha · 15/07/2019 23:40

Really nice name.

bridgetreilly · 15/07/2019 23:53

Lovely. Also lots of nice nn potential: Jo, Joey, Anna, Annie...

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 15/07/2019 23:57

Joanna I love you! you’re the one, the one for me! So many songs! It’s a lovely name and she will probably be the only one in her year called it, good call OP.

Kokeshi123 · 16/07/2019 00:40

I am not mad on it (so many Joannas in my year growing up!) but there is nothing wrong with it and at least it stands out a bit these days!

Chocmallows · 16/07/2019 00:43

It's ok, but I prefer Josephine, Josie.
