Which is your favourite on our shortlist? We have a short 3-letter 1-syllable surname and like the following:

Charlotte
Heather
Annabelle
Jennifer

Henry
Edward

Charlotte and Annabel (this spelling!) are nice.

Your boys names are a little dull and overused imo.

Mintypea5 · 08/07/2019 21:17

Annabelle is lovely

I have a Henry Edward great name combination Wink

kittytiggy · 08/07/2019 21:21

Jennifer is dreadful! Love Annabelle but agree with PP, the Annabel spelling is much nicer.

Pineapplefish · 08/07/2019 21:22

I like Edward and Jennifer (nn Jenny).

Sexnotgender · 08/07/2019 21:24

Charlotte and Heather are lovely. I don’t like your boys names.

StevieNicksRhiannon · 08/07/2019 21:28

Heather.

Underused, nature-connected, lovely!

IggyAce · 08/07/2019 21:29

Charlotte: I really like this
Heather: I like this and very under used.
Annabelle: not a fan and this spelling is too frilly imo.
Jennifer: it’s ok.

Henry: not a fan.
Edward: prefer this to Henry.

Charlotte and Edward

AverageMummy · 08/07/2019 21:54

Annabel and Charlotte are lovely
Edward & Henry both lovely

Watersnail · 08/07/2019 22:21

Charlotte - a bit dull
Heather - like, underused nature name
Annabelle - my favourite of your ideas
Jennifer - like, retro in a nice way

pumpkinpie07 · 09/07/2019 21:27

Thanks everyone Smile Quite mixed opinions on the girls names. But maybe more of a swing towards Edward as a preference for a boy?

Charlotte and Henry for me.

I like Edward too, but prefer Henry.

I'm not keen on Heather or Jennifer as they seem a little dated. I don't like the Annabelle spelling, but quite like Annabel. I prefer Charlotte though as I think Annabel is a little cutesy and will date along with all the other Belle / Bella names.

littlebitstressed · 09/07/2019 21:56

Charlotte: i like it but I’m not a massive fan
Heather- don’t really like it
Annabelle: love this name!
Jennifer: so cute

Henry: I love it, think it’s so full of personality
Edward: really cute

17caterpillars1mouse · 10/07/2019 20:04

Annabel and Edward

MikeUniformMike · 10/07/2019 20:49

Charlotte - very popular, classic, won't date
Heather - more unusual, unlikely to date, could be Hevver,.
Annabelle - prefer Annabel
Jennifer - maybe a bit dated, but definitely fine.
All nice.

Henry
Edward
Both nice but Ed is better than Hen. Not Teddy or Ned please.

Cathyheathcliff · 10/07/2019 20:50
