Two flower names?

My daughter's name is Rose and we really like Holly if we have a girl. I always thought it was a bit too much having two flower names, but at the end of the day does it really matter?

Other names on the list are:
Alice
Harriet
Phoebe
Estelle
Amelia
Elouise
Luella
Mia
Belle (probably needs a longer formal name but can't use Isabel or Annabel)
Sibella
Violet

Also, my son's name is Ben. So it would be Rose, Ben and Holly - there is a kids show called Ben and Holly...is that also something we can look past?

Lilly is a pharmaceutical company. No to Ben and Holly but two plant names together are fine.

I like either, the Ben and Holly reference people may or may not pick up on but probably only very briefly. I like the double L in Lilly as I one of the nicest girls I ever taught spelled her name like that!

Two of my DDs are flowers. I didn’t notice it initially, just liked the names! It has never been remarked on.
Anyway, does anyone really think of holly as a flower? It must have them, but is more famous for its leaves.

I think two flower names are a bit twee to be honest. One of my daughters has a flower name (Iris) but I wouldn’t use another flower name if I ever had another daughter. But having said that, I don’t actually think of Holly as a flower name so I reckon Rose and Holly are fine together. I don’t see Ben and Holly as a problem either. I actually know a Ben and Holly sibling pair and never thought anything of it.

Iris, Violet sound good with Rose. Lily is a bit everywhere. Don’t like Holly.

Thanks again all - we have decided on Lillian and feeling relieved to have finally found a name we both love!.. baby will probably end up being a boy anyway 😊

Holly and Rose would be fine but not with Ben

I love Lilian Pearl too. I'm glad I asked!! Not sure the husband will go for Pearl but will put it to him. 💗
