I really like all of them, other than Ruth, Naimh and Abigail. None of which are terrible, I just find them quite blah.

My favourite is Hazel. I also love Roisin, but prefer Roise, if that's an option?

chuckyeggtimestwo · 25/06/2019 21:03

saffron - nice but a bit ‘hippy’ and will maybe be shortened to saffy
hazel - nice
betsy - very ‘cute’ but is it suitable for an adult?
roisin - nice, irish
ruth - biblical name - i would think you were maybe religious
isodora - nice but a bit ‘witchy’
rebecca - i like it
rosa - also like
brigid - frigid brigid!
abigail - ok
niamh - ok

TatianaLarina · 25/06/2019 21:07

Spinderellacutituponetime · 25/06/2019 21:12

Betsy. Hands down.

Cotswoldmama · 25/06/2019 21:17

Love Rosa, don't really like any of the others

IggyAce · 25/06/2019 21:20

Saffron: like, I work in a school and haven’t met one.
Hazel: not keen.
Elisabeth nn Betsy: Like but nn tend to evolve so may not end up as Betsy
Roisin: ok
Ruth: old fashioned not quite granny chic, yet.
isadora: quite like but hate Dora as a nn.

Rebecca: classic not too popular.
Rosa: prefer Rosalie
Brigid: no
Abigail: ok
Niamh: ok.

I’d choose Rebecca, Saffron or Isadora.

MikeUniformMike · 25/06/2019 21:25

Saffron - ok but not keen
Hazel - ok
Elisabeth nn Betsy - prefer Elizabeth
Roisin - not unless you're Irish and I think it might be dated
Ruth - fine but I wouldn't choose it
Isadora - no, don't like it
Rebecca - no, dated
Rosa - yes
Brigid - yes but
Abigail - lovely
Niamh - is it dated?

I would go for Rosa or Abigail. or even Abigail Rosa.

Sakura7 · 25/06/2019 22:16

Roisin is lovely, but unless you're in Ireland there will be issues with pronunciation.

My favourite is Hazel.
