Gabrielle. Much more classy.

JustMe9 · 25/06/2019 07:10

Gabrielle. Gabriella sounds like a stripper name to me sorry!

FriarTuck · 25/06/2019 07:11

Gabrielle

Snowy81 · 25/06/2019 07:58

Gabriella sounds nicer to me.

BlueMerchant · 25/06/2019 08:00

Gabrielle

MikeUniformMike · 25/06/2019 08:36

Not keen on either. Seem a bit 1970s.

Owlbert · 25/06/2019 11:57

I prefer Gabriella, Gabrielle just reminds me of the 90s popstar although I'm sure I'd forget that quickly if I met a cute baby one!

AverageMummy · 25/06/2019 12:08

I’ve always loved the nickname Brie so makes no odds to me. I think maybe the elle ending feels less fussy

mrsm43s · 25/06/2019 12:13

Gabriella.

Gabrielle sounds dated to me, and I generally prefer names with an -a on the end (Susanna over Suzanne, Julia over Julie, Joanna over Joanne etc).

That said, I'm not actually keen on either Gabriella or Gabrielle tbh.

MrsScamander · 25/06/2019 12:32

Gabrielle, sounds more elegant and grown up. Kind of like Isabelle compared to Isabella.

Stickinicki · 25/06/2019 12:46

I think Gabriella sounds beautiful. I like it much better than Gabrielle. I think it's because it sounds more girly, so if you're not after that maybe Gabrielle would work better.

MrsBertBibby · 25/06/2019 13:03

Not keen on either.

How about Celia? Lovely and I don't see it used much.

Fatkins · 25/06/2019 13:13

I like Gabrielle better.

How about;

Sylvie
Vivienne
Eloise
Josephine
Leonora

pinkgirlsxx · 25/06/2019 14:44

Gabriella, that's the name me and husband are calling our second daughter due November :) shortening to Gabby x

legolife · 25/06/2019 14:46

Gabriella for sure.

Sophronia · 25/06/2019 14:51

Gabriella

NetballHoop · 25/06/2019 14:56

Gabriela with one l for me.

MikeUniformMike · 25/06/2019 15:10

Gabriella is nicer than Gabrielle.

gtigti · 25/06/2019 16:53

I prefer Gabrielle but hate the nickname Gabby

Polkadotpolly · 25/06/2019 17:52

Don’t like either at all but Gabriella

Zazia · 25/06/2019 17:55

Both are fine. It's up to you which one you prefer.

nandaandm · 25/06/2019 17:59

Gabriella

I am biased though as I have a Gabriella.

She gets Gabi or Gigi (a play on her initials as her middle name begins with G)

LuckyAmy1986 · 25/06/2019 18:04

Gabriella

Kanga83 · 25/06/2019 18:04

Not keen on Gabby, but prefer Gabriella to Gabrielle. Similar names I think to them are - Arabella, Isabella/Isobel, Francesca, Adrianna, Angelica, Juliana,

DramaAlpaca · 26/06/2019 00:09

Gabriella sounds more classy & elegant to me.
