What do people think of the name Arabella?

Name help needed!

Too frilly for my taste. It's really down to what you like though. Are there any other names you like? If we get a feel for your style then we could suggest some.

I quite like it but prefer Arabel or Amabel. Less frilly

It's beautiful but it is too long. It will be Ella or Bella.
Arabel is awful and Amabel looks like a typo.

I don't love it. What about Marielle or Flora?

I quite like it, like the connotation with the artic monkeys song.

Not keen - sounds like a caricature of an aristocratic, pony riding, rich girl.

It's nice if you like frilly names. It's getting a bit popular tho.

What about Abella? Apparently it means "breath that is source of life."

I like it but it is quite posh if that makes a difference! Then again one of my favourite names is Aurelia and that's really posh Haha

I like the arctic monkeys song and don’t see it as frilly because of it!

I like Arabella, it's very pretty. I wouldn't use it myself because it feels a bit long but I think you should use it!
