What are your thoughts on the names Camille or Camilla?

My husband won’t have any of it but these are beautiful names to me - I like that Camilla is easier to say / pronounce in this country but love Camille & dropping the future Queen link

Camilla is a lovely name. Not so keen on Camille - feels a bit unfinished to me, and too close to camel...

Now that you mention it, Camille sounds like camel to me but said with a heavy accent.

I always think of Camille as a male name (probably because it was Saint-Saens' first name). I think both are lovely names, but I'd pick Camilla for a girl.

Camille sounds lovely if pronounced the French way as ‘Camee’, the ll’s are silent.

Like both but prefer Camille !

I like them both, I also like Camila (cam-ee-la as the one I know pronounces it, emphasis on the ee sound)
