My baby boy is actually already here and three days old and I still haven't decided on which to go with as I simply love them both. 😭

I can't even say I have a tiny preference towards one of them over the other. Help me out, please?

Ansel for sure!

Adler isn’t a name in Germany. It’s quite an uncommon surname

All I can hear in my head with Ansel is Danny Dyer reading the story Of 'ansel and Gre'l

diddlediddle · 13/06/2019 11:27

Definitely Ansel. Much nicer sound

Lavenderblues · 13/06/2019 11:57

Ansel is lovely!

Ansel reminds me of Ansell the condom brand . Sorry, I'm no help.

Antonin · 13/06/2019 13:28

I think Anselm might be the better option if folk immediately think of condoms. Problem probably wouldn’t arise until sensitive teenage years when his nn might be condom.

^Ansel is a brilliant name!
Ansel Adams! Greatest photographer ever.^

This is exactly why i considered it (we went in honeymoon to California to see the real places AA had photographed). DH wasn’t brave enough!

Adler used to be a brand of typewriter Smile

FizzyGreenWater · 14/06/2019 11:03

Ansel definitely.

Ansel by far

carmenbea · 15/06/2019 09:49

Love Ansel

growlingbear · 15/06/2019 09:54

I massively prefer Ansel (actually prefer Anselm because I love Anselm Kiefer's work, but Ansel is close.) I love the meaning of Adler but the word is less musical to the ears.

Lavenderblues · 15/06/2019 16:53

The meaning of Adler? An 🦅 eagle!

Is that a nice meaning Confused?
