Sorry.... I couldn’t think of a title that hadn’t been done / anyone would find interesting Grin Grin

Somehow we’ve gone from not being able to find a name we agree on, to having an actual shortlist !

What do you think? If you hate them all that’s really ok Grin

Juliet Josephine
Rosa Josephine
Matilda Josephine
Rory David
Henry David

That would be London.

Off the top of my head - Julia Somerville, Julia Donaldson, Julia Bradbury, Julia Roberts, Julia Stiles, Juliet Stevenson, Juliette Lewis, Juliette Binoche...

Penny4thoughts · 12/06/2019 21:28

@TatianaLarina half of those are a different name

Oh my god OP you had me there for a second Grin well played!

FrownPrincess · 12/06/2019 21:33

Rosa Juliet would be my choice !
And Henry David

Penny4Thoughts · 12/06/2019 21:35

@PavlovaFaith Grin

@frownprincess Rosa Juliet does sound beautiful!

I like Rosa and Rory best. Though might be a bit of a mouthful if you used the other for a subsequent child...
Not a fan of Henry or Matilda but there’s nothing wrong with them.
I don’t think Juliet Josephine goes as a combination.

I was at secondary school with a Candida.... I don’t think anyone really commented on her name back then (she may have changed it now!)Smile

TatianaLarina · 12/06/2019 21:47

It’s not a different name - it’s the same name with a different ending.

If you read my pp I said I knew loads of ‘Julias and Juliets’.

Matilda Josephine goes best, I think, though I do like Juliet a lot. And Rory David.

WittyFool · 13/06/2019 00:41

@WineOrGin yes my Grandmother

swimmerforlife · 13/06/2019 01:54

I am not keen on Juliet, all the ones I know were born in the 70s.

Henry is overrated.

Not really a fan of Rosa, I don't know why...

I really love by Rory but I roll my rs so it sounded a bit shit when I said Rory out loud Grin Matilda is lovely so those two would be my pick!

SpeckofStardust · 13/06/2019 02:05

Juliet Josephine is a bit of a mouthful, though I guess you wouldn’t say them together much. I think Rosa has the edge for your girls’ names. Henry David is really nice, not keen on Rory.

OkPedro · 13/06/2019 02:08

Love the name Juliet, my Dd is Lucy but would have gone for Juliet if ex dp had agreed.
Yes how does someone who doesn’t pronounce their R’s pronounce Rory? Confused

RomanyQueen · 13/06/2019 02:09

i like Josie Rosaleen

and Rory David.

OkPedro · 13/06/2019 02:12

romanyqueen how do you pronounce Rory? 😀

Cookit · 13/06/2019 06:39

Very like my own lists! Love them!

Malvinaa81 · 13/06/2019 11:03

Anything but Matilda.

motortroll · 13/06/2019 11:10

Juliet and Rory get my vote!

Juliet is my favourite "never gonna get used" name!

Also Josephine is a fab name belonging to my crazy little 5 year old...good choice!

RomanyQueen · 13/06/2019 17:42

OKPedro

Roary like a lion does with a "Y" at the end.

CassianAndor · 13/06/2019 17:45

Juliet, Rosa and Rory are my faves.

(Excellent clickbait thread title, btw)

Wiseoldnannyplum · 13/06/2019 20:57

Love Juliet Josephine. Also Rory Avid would be my favourite. They're all lovely names tho
