Thoughts on our girls names?

Hi partner & I are due our first baby girl in September. We’ve always had lots of girls names we liked & we think we have our top two. Sienna & Sophia. We’re now just trying to decide on middle names. Surname is long but only two syllables. We had always wanted Rose for the middle name but unfortunately my sister in law bet us to it & her little girls middle name is Rose so we can’t use that.
Thoughts on

Sienna Elise
Sienna Eve
Sienna Aurora
Sienna Lily
Sophia Grace
Sophia Lily
I also like the names Aria, Ariana & Aurora for a first name. Thoughts on our current combinations? And any other middle name suggestions welcome too ☺️ Thank you! x

I agree Grace as a middle name with either forename plus a two-syllable surname. A one-syllable middle name in any case. Rose would be nice too. Why can't she have the same middle name as her cousin?

I don't really like the middle names starting with a vowel when the first name ends with a vowel.

Thank you! Yeah I had thought Sienna Grace aswell but my partner didn’t like that combo. Aw I know I really do want Sienna Rose but I am not sure my sister in law would be ok with us also using Rose & I don’t want to ask either as I don’t think she would feel she could say no we can’t use it even if that is how she feels. And I don’t want there to be any upset with our baby girls name. I wouldn’t mind if situation reversed but everyone is different & I don’t want to put her in that position & also thought maybe others in family would find it weird. Thank you for all your opinions they’ve been very helpful & I think deffo right with a 1 syllable middle name! 👍🏼☺️

Of course you can use the same middle name! It's just a middle name, it's not as if it's the same first name. Go for Sienna Rose, it's lovely.

Thank you Tillygetsit for your suggestion that is really cute actually. And thank you DramaAlpaca do you think so? We would still need to ask my sister in law first though wouldn't we? I don’t like the idea of having to ask if it’s okay but I also have felt a bit defeated as nothing sounds as nice with Sienna as Rose does. I just don’t want to upset or annoy my sister in law though & i worry i would also feel a bit uncomfortable if she felt she couldn’t express her dislike of the idea which I think is how it would go. I can’t imagine her being thrilled by the idea. But I can’t imagine her saying flat out no either. She might just pretend she’s not too bothered but really inside she might be annoyed about it. So then I’d never really have her blessing if that makes sense & I don’t want there to be any angst as the girls will be cousins & I really care about my sister in law & would never want to upset her. I don’t know it’s an awkward one. I am gutted though as when we were pregnant with our first son over 3 years ago before we found out the sex Sienna Rose was the name we had on our list if it was a girl. I have been trying to put it out my head & trying to make myself love another middle name more instead but in the back of my mind I keep hearing Sienna Rose & love it. It just flows really nicely & with the surname I also think it sounds the nicest.

Rose is the ‘must have’middle Name at the moment and lots of girls have it, so it’s hardly unique and will be very dated.

DSis, DN1 and DN2 and DD all have the same middle name - it’s become a bit of a tradition!! They all think it’s great.

Dsis was named by her sister and DN2 insisted DD shared her name (12 year age gap)

Sophia lily is sweet. So is Sophia Grace, but I can't help but think of that irritating child who went viral for singing superbass. I'm sure if you search the name you'll get the idea! But then again, perhaps not.. don't want to ruin it for you! Grin

They’re all lovely! The one I like least is probably Aurora because I think it might be a bit faddy. My favourite combo is Sophia Grace Smile

I like Sophia Lily and Sienna Lily best. I think Lily just flows best and sounds gorgeous in combo with both.

From your first name list I like Sophia best, then Aurora.
