We are expecting a baby any day and do not know the gender. We feel a bit more certain about boys' names, which has surprised us, but could do with your help for girls' names.
We would like our child to have a name that is known, but not used frequently (so certainly something that is not in the top 100, but ideally as far outside of that as possible) and ideally something with good shortening potential. Names we like include Hermione (but mildly concerned about Harry Potter references) and Beatrix (but if you put the data together with that for Beatrice it ranks about 68th in 2017).
If we like these two names, what else might we like? Thanks for your help and ideas!
