Boy after two girls

Hi everyone

We’ve got two girls, Martha and Anna, and we’ve just found out we’re having a boy. We really expected a girl so only had girls names lined up and really struggling to find a boys name we both like.

So far we both sort of like Sebastian and Ezra. DH likes Rafe, Eric and Theo/Leo none of which I love and I like Jago, Wilf and Cassius all of which he hates.

What do people prefer out of Sebastian or Ezra? Thanks for your help!

Sebastian is top 3 boys names in my list as is Laurie (Lawrence)

My third choice doesn’t really go

I also think Ezra goes better with the other two Biblical names.

Sebastian, definitely. Or Theodor, especially if you read any Dr Seuss.

Love Sebastian

Martha, Anna and Ezra sound lovely together.
I also like Cassius a lot!

Don't like the (probably inevitable) short forms of Sebastian eg Sebby or Basty.

Oo swinging the other way..thank you. It’s interesting as I didn’t think Ezra went with the other two, but didn’t think of the biblical element...food for thought. Thank you!

Love Sebastian. Think it also goes well with your girls names.

Definitely Sebastian.

Much better name irrespective of siblings, but I also think it sounds much better next to the siblings. Such a clear Old Testament name like Ezra highlights the biblical nature of the sister names (that with Sebastian I would just think of as traditional names). Which is fine if you like and want a biblical theme. Sebastian is more timeless and Ezra is on trend, so it changes the feel of the group for me.

I prefer your husband's list, particularly Eric.

Sebastian.

I don’t mind rhymey names but I think Ezra with Anna and Martha is too many as. It would be ok if they were all girls.

Sebastian is a much nicer name.
