Like people calling their dogs/cats people names like Bob, Keith, Frank, Alan etc... Just think if it was reversed and babies were called Tigger and Fluffy and Shep and Lassie and Biscuit...

(Disclaimer. This all sounded a lot more sensible in my sleep deprived mind at 4am this morning!)

Tbh that was my first thought on the royal baby name as I know a dog called Archie! Though it does work for animals and humans.

It does! Pretty soon dog names and human names will be interchangeable Grin

I hate it when people call their pet a human name. It's not that I don't like the pets, it's just... Weird I guess ?

Names from mythology are fine (for instance I'd call my cat Sekhmet, but not Catherine).

As for the reverse, I honestly feel like it does happen sometimes. Anyone remember that lady on masterchef who'd called her son Danger ?

Just look at American daytime soaps The Bold and Beautiful has men called Thorne, Ridge, Storm...

I love human names on dogs. Makes them more part of the family!
