Hi, I’m currently pregnant with triplet girls, I have one name definitely picked out, Leila, some other names a like are Aven, Ivy and Pearl but I can’t find a combination of 3 names that seem right, does anyone have suggestions for what two names would go nicely with Leila, thanks!

Have you had your sister with you a long time? Sorry I know it’s none of my business but I think a lot of children would choose stability / the home they’ve known & could feel quite displaced if had to move out to make way for new children
But I realise it’s a really difficult situation & you might have explored all possibilities endlessly

I really like those names 😊

Edie Rose
Leila Raine
Violet Reese

Maybe better this way..

Rainandwine No I haven’t she was with my Aunty but due to family circumstances had to move in with me but is desperate to go back to my aunties because she’s been there since she was two so at the moment we’ve been telling her she’s on holiday at my house until she can go back which will hopefully be in the next month or two.

I haven't heard of Aven before but I like that! I think the names you have suggested are all nice; I don't really think they need to 'go' as your babies will all be individuals so maybe just pick the 3 names you like best :)

Saharasunset · 18/05/2019 16:38

As PP suggested this combo is nicer

Edie Rose
Leila Raine
Violet Reese

Leila, Salma and Nora(h)

I think you've got to try and get them all as nice as each other. That's the tricky bit. So it might help if they're along similar lines, so all classic, modern, unusual etc.

Edie Rose - worst name of the three by a. country mile imo. Rose is nice enough but Edie is nowhere near as pretty as the other two, so it's a bit of an odd one out.
Leila Reese- not a fan of the middle name but to be fair, she won't have to use it so it doesn't matter too much.
Violet Raine- reminiscent of purple rain, which I think is a song. Also makes an adjective noun combo, which I'm not a fan of. Like Scarlett Rose or Sunny June. Then again, as with Leila, she won't have to use the middle name so it doesn't matter too much.

Names that are on the same sort of level as Edie are things like Margot, Elsie, Edith, Maeve, Agnes, Beatrice, Penny, June...

I love the idea of Leila and Dawn because Leila means "night". Selene means "moon goddess" which would work but I love how Astrid sounds with Leila and Dawn

happyhillock · 18/05/2019 22:50

Don't like pearl
Ava
Zara
Sara
Amelia
Amber
Lily
Poppy
Rose
Freya
Hannah
Grace
Faith
Hope
Robyn
Eve

BikeRunSki · 18/05/2019 22:54

Willow, Wren, Rowan

MarniLou · 18/05/2019 23:06

Leila, Esther, Sydney
Leila, Nancy, Ava
Leila, Nina, Stella
Leila, Eliza, Rosa
Sydney, Nancy, Edie

Saying those,
I quite like the endings all with 'the same letter 'y' or 'a'; sort of holds them together and much less twee than all starting with the same letter.

KitNCaboodle · 18/05/2019 23:13

My youngest was going to be Edie Rose if he were a girl.
Leila, Edie and Violet work well together

longestlurkerever · 18/05/2019 23:15

I really like Leila and Ivy but I am not so keen on Pearl. It sounds a bit Grannyish. Leila, Ivy and Grace? Leila, Ivy and Rosa? Leila, Ivy and Delphine?
