@Veterinari @Starryskiesinthesky I am Scottish I'm now doubting the name in the book as it was an audio book.

Definitely a girl's name, and has been in occasional use in Scotland since 1950. I quite like it.

I think to non Scottish / non East coast folk it might be more unusual but hey ho! Definitely a girls name though!

Gardeners will know Glen Clova as a popular variety of raspberry - there are several, all named after the Angus glens. There are much worse associations, however!
