We have almost (we think) settled on the name Robyn for our dd due later this year. We can't think of a middle name though!
Our surname is one syllable and starts with T (so we need to be careful the first letters don't spell anything like RAT!)
Any thoughts on Robyn and middle names would be very welcome!

Thank you everyone! Some lovely suggestions.

Bit of a controversial one...
My DH has suggested Robyn Jaimes (pronounced James). He originally suggested the boys spelling, but I think as Robyn is so similar to the boys name Robin, it might be too much...!
I know there are some girls called James (Ryan Reynolds daughter for example), and I do think it goes quite nicely... but interested to get others thoughts. TIA!

Robyn Lucy is our chosen girls name Smile

We have 2 boys and unlikely to have anymore children now but would love to have used it.

I think Robyn James is lovely

I like the name Robyn / Robin but think that given that it is a unisex name, Robyn, combined with the middle name "Jaimes" is just too male.

When you say it and don't know how either name is spelt, it is a boy's name.

I'm also not keen on the spelling "Jaimes" as it feels made up.

Usual caveat of your baby, your choice. Good luck!

If I met a Robyn James I'd assume the parents really wanted a boy

MCPT · 16/04/2019 16:42

Haha I totally understand the points about the two names being quite male...! The funny thing is, our choice for a boy doesn't include either Robin or James 😂
Anyway, I do think It's a bit much, so will continue with Robyn, but go for a different middle name!
