Nope

EmmaC78 · 13/04/2019 21:15

No

Frightenedbunny · 13/04/2019 21:21

No! Reminds me of dopey Kirk on coronation street

Loubyloulou88 · 13/04/2019 21:25

My mum's cats called Kirk, so it's a no from me 🙈

heymammy · 13/04/2019 21:39

My 15yr old has two Kirks in her class! I must admit I burst out laughing when she told me, so it's a hard no from me.

Bumblebeesmum · 14/04/2019 08:13

JenniferJareau · 14/04/2019 08:13

First thing that comes into my head is Captain Grin

EyeDrops · 14/04/2019 08:21

Captain and Douglas! Sorry, no!

megrichardson · 14/04/2019 08:26

NO, and I say this as a Trekker.

Rosesaredead · 14/04/2019 10:20

SoHotADragonRetired · 14/04/2019 10:22

No. A lifetime of Spock jokes.

PompeyBez · 14/04/2019 10:25

Yes! Was on my short list for my DS, but decided he didn't look like a Kirk when he came out Grin

MikeUniformMike · 14/04/2019 19:08

Yeah, why not.
I'm Spartacus!

NutMeghan · 15/04/2019 08:36

Kurt

Smellslikemiddleagespirit · 15/04/2019 08:37

I quite like it 🤷🏻‍♀️

A lifetime of Star Trek jokes

The Star Trek that featured Captain Kirk was decades ago, and won’t mean anything to children/ young people now.

Imadehimlikethat · 15/04/2019 08:37

It's just a sound.

NutMeghan · 15/04/2019 08:37

Curtis

cheeseypizza · 15/04/2019 10:15

No, sorry.

nancy75 · 15/04/2019 10:17

The Kirk I know is lovingly (and not so lovingly) called Berk by most of his friends.

cheeseypizza · 15/04/2019 13:13

Curtis sounds nice.

MumUnderTheMoon · 17/04/2019 23:32

I'm a bit of a Trekkie so I like it.

AlliKaneErikson · 18/04/2019 05:13

Not a fan, sorry.

MountainPeakGeek · 18/04/2019 05:18

Not so. My kids can't stand the original series heathens! but they both enjoyed the more recent movies with Chris Pine as Kirk.

It's a no from me too.

Petalflowers · 18/04/2019 05:46

I know an adult Kirk. Really nice chap, so it’s a yes from me.

Helsvamp · 18/04/2019 08:44

Nothing wrong with Kirk if you love it use it don't let others change your mind it's your baby
